George Michael: A duet with Justin Timberlake would be interesting

People with George Michael tickets for his gig in London last Saturday (October 31st), will have heard the singer announce Justin Timberlake's presence at the show - and now the British musician seems open to singing a duet with the US star.

The former Wham! member told the crowd that he would have to perform well that night as the celebrity was watching him.

After the show, the media began publishing various rumours, with a source telling the Daily Mirror Timberlake was mistaken as Michael's boyfriend by several men who wanted to chat up the British pop star.

Several papers also printed gossip that the two singers want to work together in the future.

Michael posted a message on social networking platform Twitter that the stories were "cobblers", but seemed interested in the idea of being involved in a duet with Timberlake.

"Justin was very sweet actually," the artist wrote. "I hope that bits [sic] real. We could probably make an interesting record."

Fans of the Faith singer may still be able to pick up George Michael tour tickets for his forthcoming gigs in the UK, which include performances in London, Dublin, Manchester and Glasgow.
