Green Day announce Glasgow gig
Punk legends Green Day are to make a return to Glasgow's SECC arena for a gig this summer, the Sunday Mail reports.
The band played a sell-out show in the city just eight months ago and are apparently so fond of the venue they have decided to return.
Tickets to the gig are likely to go fast with the 10,000 seat arena the smallest on the band's European tour.
A tour insider told the newspaper: "The reason Green Day are coming back so soon is simple - they loved the SECC gig so much and couldn't wait to return.
"They played a brilliant show then took some time off to explore Scotland and play golf. Now they want to do it all again."
The recent Grammy winners will perform in Glasgow on June 21st. They will also be playing two other gigs in the UK as part of their summer tour Lancashire County Cricket Club's Old Trafford stadium in Manchester and London's Wembley Stadium.
