Hard to Explain voted Strokes' best song
Hard to Explain is the Strokes' best song, according to users of the NME music magazine's website.
The site held a vote to mark the tenth anniversary of the New York band's debut album Is This It and asked participants to give different tracks a score out of ten, with Hard to Explain receiving an average of 9.35.
Both Hard to Explain and Someday - which came second in the list - were taken from the Strokes' first record.
Reptilia was voted the group's third best song, while You Only Live Once and Last Nite completed the top five.
None of the tracks in the top 20 received less than eight out of ten from voters.
Holders of Leeds festival tickets might be hoping to hear Hard to Explain when the Strokes take to the main stage on the Sunday evening of this year's event.
Revellers will also be able to hear hits and classics from bands like Pulp, Muse and Elbow.
