Horner: No favourites at Red Bull

Both Red Bull drivers are in contention for this year's F1 title

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has said that his drivers will receive equal treatment during the concluding grands prix of this year's race for the world championship.

Mark Webber, Red Bull's more senior driver, currently leads the drivers' championship by 14 points over teammate Sebastian Vettel.

However, the young German proved he is still very much in contention with a victory at the last F1 race in Japan.

In the past, tensions between the two drivers have surfaced after Webber suggested the team was giving greater support to Vettel earlier in the season.

"It's not correct, as we've always said, for us to favour one driver over the other," said Horner. "The team will support both drivers as equally as we can."

"They are obviously competing for the biggest prize in motor sport and as a team that brings additional pressures with it, but as a team we are trying our best to support both drivers equally and both drivers are very much still in this championship."

The next race of the 2010 Formula One season is the Korean Grand Prix on October 24th.
