I would never go to see lip-synching Britney, says Pink
Pink has criticised fellow singer Britney Spears for lip-synching during her concerts and has said she would never go to see her live.
The Funhouse singer told Women's Health magazine that growing up listening to artists like Janis Joplin meant she did not want to see singers mime on stage.
"I'm not taking anything away from Britney because I really like her a lot, but I would never go to a show where the person was lip-synching."
It is not the first time Pink has launched an attack on the troubled singer as she has previously parodied Spears in her song Stupid Girls. However she denies any vendetta.
She said: "I swear to God, I've stuck up for Britney since the beginning. My point was, 'Stop comparing me to her, because we're different animals.'"
Pink will be coming to the UK next summer where she will play a series of gigs, starting at the Reebok Stadium in Lostock on June 12th.
She will also be playing at the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park on July 2nd.
