I'm starting my own record label, David Guetta announces on tour
The David Guetta tour recently travelled to Brazil - where the artist played a show as part of the country's Ultra Music Festival - and fans attending the performance were treated to a special announcement.
During the gig, the DJ told the crowd he would be starting his own record label, reportedly working with major names like Nicky Romero.
"I'm going to start a new electronic label," he told the crowd in the middle of his headline show at the festival over the weekend.
The star has also recently released a free documentary called Nothing But The Beat, which fans can access through iTunes.
He said the full-length film, produced by What A Music and Coca Cola's Burn Energy Drink, shows the changes in the dance scene through his own eyes.
"It shows how far we have all come and I hope will inspire all those new DJs, producers and everyone to follow their passion," the artist stated.
David Guetta tickets are now available for his UK tour dates, which include shows at London's Alexandra Palace on June 1st and 2nd and Custom House Square in Belfast on August 26th.
