'It would be fun to work with Pink' says Paolo Nutini
Monday, 23 November 2009
Paolo Nutini has raised the possibility of a collaboration with Pink after meeting her at his concert earlier this month (November).
The Scottish singer told the Daily Record that Pink "came to say hi" after his gig in Amsterdam.
"She was very nice," he said. "There are tracks on her album that focus on her as a singer more than others and those tracks sound wicked.
"It's not something I would have had on the cards but having met her, it might be fun to do something together."
Pink is a big fan of Nutini's; she was seen mouthing along to lyrics at his Amsterdam gig and in October she praised his album Sunny Side Up on her Twitter feed. "It makes me love music again. I've got a big goofy smile on my face," she said.
The American singer, who released her fifth album, Funhouse, last year, will be coming to the UK next month. Her first gig will be at London's O2 Arena on December 8th.
