JLS confirmed for charity gig
Boyband JLS have been confirmed as one of the acts performing at this year's Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
The former X Factor runners-up will take to the stage at the famous venue on March 28th where they will headline the inaugural pop night at the ten-day-long event, now in its tenth year.
They will join the likes of Depeche Mode, who were confirmed at the end of last year and play on the opening night on the 17th.
Other acts to be announced as part of the stellar line-up include Noel Gallagher, Arctic Monkeys and The Who.
There will also be a comedy night on the 23rd, featuring Jimmy Carr and Noel Fielding.
Roger Daltrey of The Who, who is also a patron of the charity, said: "When The Who first got together in 2000 to raise money for this brilliant charity, I had no idea we'd achieve so much from these shows.
"In the last ten years we've raised over £8.7 million, helping Teenage Cancer Trust to open nine more specialist cancer units for young people across the UK."
JLS start an Arena tour at Liverpool's Echo Arena on December 2nd 2010.
