James Corden returns as host of Brit Awards
Comedian James Corden, famous for his performance in Gavin and Stacey, will be hosting the Brit Awards 2012 after fulfilling the role this year.
The celebrity described it as a "real honour" to present a show he has loved since he was a teenager, saying he "can't wait" for February 21st when the event will be held.
In 2012, the awards will be hosted by London's O2 Arena, the same venue as was used earlier this year.
Chairman of the Brits David Joseph chipped in: "We are delighted to be back at The O2 for a second year and also to welcome James Corden back again as our host - he did a fantastic job last year."
Brit Awards tickets are already on sale for the annual event, which is attended by some of the music industry's biggest names.
Last year, the winners of the prizes included Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Arcade Fire, Tinie Tempah, Laura Marling, Plan B and Cee Lo Green.
Corden is also well known for the BBC sketch show he starred in with his comedy partner Matthew Horne.
