Jamiroquai tour star upset by John Lydon farting
Jay Kay has complained of an unpleasant flight sat next to former Sex Pistol frontman John Lydon, shortly ahead of Jamiroquai tickets going on sale.
Speaking to the Sun, Jamiroquai star Jay Kay said Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten during his Sex Pistols days, spent the entire trip farting.
He told the news provider: "He is a f****** nuisance. I was seated next to him on a flight and the whole trip he just kept farting. It was totally foul.
"He kept saying, 'Oh, that wasn't me' or, 'The meal smells a bit off, don't you think?' He drove me insane."
Jay Kay added that he would rather fly in economy class than share a flight with Lydon again.
"At least I'd be able to breathe a bit. They banned smoking in the air and they should ban farting," he said.
Jamiroquai recently announced a UK tour, starting at the O2 Arena in London on April 15th.
Tickets for the tour go on sale tomorrow (December 3rd).
