Jenson Button: Lewis Hamilton is my biggest F1 rival
Formula One driver Jenson Button has admitted his greatest challenger for title glory this year is teammate Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton is currently leading the drivers' championship on 109 points following two consecutive Grand Prix wins.
Fellow McLaren driver and reigning world champion Button is only three points adrift, however, having finished second to Hamilton in the past two races.
"Lewis has to be pretty much my biggest rival," Button told the Daily Telegraph.
"There are going to be times when we are wheel to wheel this season and we just have to make sure we respect each other in racing terms and don't do anything silly."
Hamilton, meanwhile, said that he sees the two's rivalry as a positive as they spurr each other on to perform better.
The two will be hoping that their good form continues this weekend when the European Grand Prix in Valencia gets underway on Sunday (june27th).
