Jingle Bell Ball stars JLS and The Wanted to perform at Radio 1 Teen Awards
Two of the acts taking part in this year's Jingle Bell Ball will also be performing at an awards ceremony recognising the contribution of teenagers to UK society.
JLS and The Wanted have been confirmed alongside US star Taylor Swift as playing at the inaugural BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, due to take place on November 14th.
Radio 1 listeners were asked to nominate candidates for the awards, which include categories such as Teen Hero, Teen Community Hero and Teen Entrepreneur.
Ben Cooper, deputy controller, BBC Radio 1 said: "This is an incredibly important event for Radio 1 as it not only features some of the biggest stars from the teen world but also celebrates the outstanding contributions made by young people in the UK."
It follows the recent announcement that JLS and The Wanted are among the acts taking part in this year's Jingle Bell Ball hosted by Capital FM.
Taking place on December 4th and 5th, other acts to be performing at the ball include Alexandra Burke and McFly.
