John Paul Jones to gatecrash Foo Fighters concert?

Foo Fighters have announced two UK shows

Them Crooked Vultures bassist John Paul Jones could make an appearance on the recently announced Foo Fighters tour, he has said.

The Foo Fighters are to play two huge shows at the Milton Keynes National Bowl next year.

Former Led Zeppelin star Jones knows Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl well from their time together with supergroup Them Crooked Vultures.

Speaking to BBC 6Music, Jones joked he may attend one of the two gigs.

"I might gatecrash one of their gigs I think … If he asks," he said.

He also hinted that a new Vultures album could be on the way.

"Some stuff we've worked on, but we're gonna write pretty quickly and just put it down," he said. "We may be a year or so."

He added that the new record would "mainly be excess material from the first album".

The Foo Fighters play the Milton Keynes National Bowl on July 2nd and 3rd, with support from Biffy Clyro.
