'Just Dance' best dance floor filler
Ticket holders for Lady Gaga's Monster Ball world tour, which returns to the UK on May 27th at Nottingham Arena, will no doubt agree with a new survey that has named her hit Just Dance the nation's favourite song to dance to.
According to a recent poll, 40 per cent of those surveyed rated the tune as the most likely to get them out of their seats and on to the dance floor.
The survey was conducted for Move It, the UK's biggest dance event.
Move It's creative director, Georgina Harper, was unsurprised by the result.
"I can always tell what the favourite track each year is by which song is most danced to by the performers. This year I predicted a dead heat between Lady Gaga's Just Dance and Beyonce's Single Ladies," she said.
Lady Gaga's album The Fame has just been knocked off the number one spot in the charts by Ellie Goulding's debut effort.
The Fame has now spent 60 consecutive weeks in the albums chart since its release, going multi-platinum in the process.
