Kasabian have home comforts on tour
Leicester rockers Kasabian will be well fed and ready to put on an incredible show as they hit the road later on in the year, thanks to a microwave oven and their favourite food.
The band admitted that they can't do without ready meals and have a portable oven on the tour bus, so they won't start getting peckish once they're on stage and entertaining people with Kasabian tickets.
Speaking the Sun, the group, who are hitting Belfast, Brighton, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool and London in November and December to promote album Velociraptor!, said they have Uncle Ben's rice, stir-fried rice, noodles and baked beans among other delicacies.
Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: "It's 2:00 AM, we're starving, so we'll knock on Marty, our security guy's door and he just goes 'Come in' and you sit around the microwave. It's pretty special."
Bookmaker William Hill recently named Kasabian as one of the favourite acts to win the Mercury Prize next year, including the band on a list with Noel Gallagher and Radiohead.
