Katie Waissel hoping for good reception from those with X Factor tour tickets

The X Factor tour starts on February 19th

Singer Katie Waissel is hoping that she will be well received by fans on the upcoming X Factor tour.

Waissel was probably the most controversial participant of last year's show with many in the press and public taking a dislike to her and she even received death threats during her time on the X Factor.

But the 24-year-old is hoping that will all be left in the past when she joins the other stars of last year's series of the X Factor for a lengthy UK tour later this month.

She told the Daily Record: "I hope people give me credit so I can enjoy the performance.

"I have thought about it and whether people will boo, but I have to think positive.

"I'm doing something I absolutely love and am really passionate about, so hopefully there won't be a repeat of the controversial drama."

The X Factor Live tour gets underway on February 19th at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
