Katy Waissel excited about X Factor tour
Singer Katy Waissel has revealed that she cannot wait to start the upcoming X Factor tour.
The contestant will be joining other performers from last year's show on a UK-wide tour which begins later this month (February).
Waissel was the focus of much media attention during her time on the X Factor, proving unpopular among many fans of the show.
However, she has revealed that since leaving the contest and performing in gigs around the UK she has enjoyed strong support.
Speaking to Now magazine, she said: "I've been gigging all over the country and the response has been wicked. I can't wait to do the X Factor tour.
"The show is such a bubble while you're on it, so I was scared about the reaction I'd get, but I've had so much support and love from my fans - the Waissel Warriors!"
This year's X Factor Live tour kicks off at the LG Arena in Birmingham on February 19th.
