Kings of Leon eager to play new songs at gigs
Ticket holders to Kings of Leon gigs may be lucky enough to hear some of the band's new and unreleased material.
The US rockers have played several songs reportedly taken off their next album at recent concerts and have revealed they intend to keep airing new material.
In an interview with Billboard.com drummer Nathan Followill claimed the band would ideally play more new tracks at their gigs.
"If it was up to us we'd play every one of them, the whole record, every night," he told the news provider.
"I'm sure...on a night when we're all feeling cheeky, we'll throw some other new ones in there."
Frontman Caleb Folowill agreed, saying the apprehension of letting fans here unreleased tracks for the first time gave concerts a greater sense of excitement.
"If we were to go out there and play a concert and not play new music, it would feel like we had our hands tied, and I think we would be bored with the show," he said.
Kings of Leon play this year's V Festival, which runs from August 21st to 22nd.
