Lady Gaga attracts 20 million Twitter followers
It looks like fans will have to be there early to get their hands on Lady Gaga tickets this year, if the number of people following her on Twitter is anything to go by.
The singer hit a record 20 million followers on the social networking website earlier this week, making her the most popular user of the platform ever.
By this morning (March 8th), the artist had amassed 20,305,615 fans on Twitter, over two million more than the next-most popular user Justin Bieber on 18,199,055.
But it seems all Lady Gaga is thinking about is the music and her forthcoming world tour, which will see her play at 110 venues this year.
"Last night I saw half of The Born This Way Ball stage completely built for rehearsal. I got the worst goosebumps and I thought to myself … I have prepared for this moment since I was six," the artist tweeted.
The Lady Gaga tour kicks off in Seoul, South Korea on April 27th, before travelling through Asia and Australasia.
