Lady Gaga gets number one competition from Rihanna
Lady Gaga fans hoping to get concert tickets for her upcoming gigs will know all about the Bad Romance star's chart-topping success.
And while the Poker Face singer has been tied with fellow pop phenomenons Beyonce and Mariah Carey for the most number one songs on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart in the US, she now faces fresh competition from R&B hit-maker Rihanna.
According to Billboard.com, all four divas now have six number one singles to their name after Rihanna topped the charts with her Eminem collaboration 'Love the Way You Lie'.
Earlier this year, Beyonce and Lady Gaga tied Mariah Carey for six number one records after the success of their collaboration on 'Telephone'.
While Rihanna and Beyonce have collected their six chart toppers since 2006 and 2003, respectively, MTV noted that Lady Gaga has been the fastest to tie the record, with all of her six released between 2009 and 2010.
Lady Gaga is currently travelling around the world on her lengthy Monster Ball tour.
The show hits UK shores for the third time later this year and kicks off with a gig at Odyssey in Belfast on October 30th.
