Lady Gaga turns into Gee-yonce for video shoot
Lady Gaga became Gee-yonce on a recent video shoot for Beyonce.
The famous New York pop star, who has recently announced her first UK tour, collaborated with the former Destiny's Child singer on her single Videophone.
Speaking to Z100 radio station in New York, Gaga admitted that she didn't want to look to outlandish on the shoot.
"[Beyonce] called me and she said: 'What do you want to do?'," she said.
"And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video'. I said, 'I want to do you.'"
Gaga went on to say that when she was learning the choreography, people on set were calling her Gee-yonce.
To return the favour for featuring on Videophone, Beyonce lent her vocals to the Gaga track Telephone, which is on her re-released album.
Lady Gaga will be playing a number of dates in the UK next year, kicking off at the Manchester Evening News Arena on February 18th and taking in London's O2 and the Birmingham LG Arena.
