Lana Del Rey to sing at SXSW
There could be a rush for Lana Del Rey tickets at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival and conference, as it has been announced the star will be playing at the event.
SXSW will be held in Austin Texas between March 9th and 18th and will showcase many acts.
Other artists playing as well as Lana Del Rey include SBTRKT, Of Montreal, the Drums and M Ward.
The keynote speaker for the 2012 festival has been confirmed as Bruce Springsteen, who will also be touring later in the year.
With debut album Born to Die needing promotion ahead of and following its release on January 30th, fans may also be able to look forward to a Lana Del Rey tour soon.
Prime minister David Cameron may be among those hoping to see some live gigs announced, as he recently revealed in an interview with the Sunday Telegraph that he likes the musician's tunes.
