Lee Evans live show praised for "ingenious observations"
The Lee Evans tour Roadrunner, which is currently travelling around the UK, has seen praise levelled at the comedian for the cleverness of his jokes.
A review on The Stage said the funnyman's observations are "ingenious" and his delivery "brilliant".
His material is "more inventive than John Bishop and certainly more vicious than Michael McIntyre", it was claimed.
The online magazine also noted Lee Evans' famous physicality on stage continues to be as effective as ever, with his visual gags being compared to a Warner Brothers' cartoon.
Britons keen on seeing the comic for themselves may be able to make it to a Lee Evans live show, as the celebrity is touring extensively in October and November, performing across the UK including at the Manchester MEN Arena, Glasgow's SECC and Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena.
According to the review, Roadrunner includes discussion on "everyman" topics such as his wife and sports and is so accessible that even the vast audience at the London O2 Arena could relate to it.
