Leeds Festival 2012 line-up to be revealed in March
Some of the biggest names on the Leeds Festival 2012 line-up will be officially announced on Monday March 12th.
As yet, none of the artists performing at the event have been revealed, but that has not stopped music lovers whispering among themselves and rumours are abound.
Website efestivals.co.uk has listed the names fans are betting will be included on the bill.
Among the biggest artists whose appearance at the event is described as "to be confirmed" are Foo Fighters, Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs, all of whom are thought to be playing on the Main Stage.
Meanwhile, there are rumours Green Day and The Cure could perform and strong speculation Tenacious D will be there.
On the NME Stage, there is thought to be a good chance Foster the People will take the stage, while The Maccabees are to be confirmed.
Among the other names mentioned are newly reformed post-punk act At the Drive-In and Swedish group Miike Snow.
Strong rumours of appearances by Azealia Banks, Howler, Metronomy, The Black Keys, Tribes and Two Door Cinema Club were also listed.
The official website for the festival, which will be held between August 24th and 26th, said it is "guaranteed to be the music event of the summer, with the biggest and best names in music descending on the legendary twin-site event over the August bank holiday weekend".
March 12th will also see Leeds Festival tickets go on general sale at 19:15 GMT, while headliners and some other acts will be announced.
