Leeds Festival visitors urged to go by train
Holders of Leeds Festival tickets have been encouraged to do their bit for the environment by leaving their cars at home this year and travelling to the event by train.
Rail company First TransPennine Express has teamed up with a shuttle bus company to make it easier for passengers to get from the station to Bramham Park.
Customers booking their train tickets online can arrange a bus transfer at the same time by selecting another journey from Leeds or York stations via the Leeds Fest Bus.
Rail travel also provides the benefit of large groups of friends being able to make their way to the festival together, meaning no-one will be left disappointed after missing out on a space in the car.
Upon arrival at Bramham Park, music lovers can look forward to hearing some of the world-famous acts due to play the Leeds Festival this year, such as the Strokes, Muse, My Chemical Romance and Jane's Addiction.
