Leonard Cohen announces one-off UK gig this summer

Leonard Cohen tickets are likely to sell out fast for a one-off gig by the singer this summer.

He will play a special concert at The Hop Farm in Kent on September 8th.

As if that wasn't enough, fans will also be treated to a three-hour-long set that is bound to include some of his most memorable hits like I'm Your Man, Suzanne and, of course, Hallelujah.

This will be his only gig in the UK this year and will give people the ideal opportunity to see the 77-year-old artist if they are unable to get along to one of the Leonard Cohen tour dates in Europe over the summer.

Promoter Vince Power said: "To get the opportunity to bring Leonard Cohen to the UK for his only appearance this year is a fantastic and humbling achievement."

He described the musician as "one of the undisputed forefathers of modern folk music".

Cohen has a new album out called Old Ideas, tracks from which will no doubt feature at the show.
