Liars announce 2012 tour
A new Liars tour 2012 has just been announced by the band.
They are playing live to support the release of their new album WIXIW and will kick things off at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on October 10th.
The US group will then head to Glasgow, Norwich, Portsmouth, Cambridge, London and Birmingham.
Liars' penultimate date will be at Gathering Festival in Oxford on October 20th, before they round things off with a performance at Sound Control in Manchester on October 21st.
They will then head to mainland Europe and Liars tickets are available now.
Reviewing WIXIW, Pitchfork noted the band have been fairly unsettled in recent years, moving from New York to New Jersey and then Berlin.
"But since settling down in Los Angeles in 2009, they've made some of their most unsettling and misanthropic work thus far," the music website stated, giving their latest offering 7.8 out of ten.
It noted it relies heavily on samples and electronics, which is a move away from some of their previous records, which were instrument-based.
