Lionel Richie becomes 2nd artist to top Billboard Country and R&B charts
Lionel Richie's new album has topped the US Billboard Country Albums chart this week and people with Lionel Richie tickets will probably be looking forward to seeing the star play tracks from the hit CD.
A UK Lionel Richie tour will take place in September and November and he is bound to treat crowds to some new tunes, as well as old favourites such as Dancing on the Ceiling and All Night Long.
The success of his latest record Tuskegee means the singer has now topped both the Billboard Country and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts - only the second person to do so after Ray Charles managed the feat with his albums Crying Time and Friendship.
Every song on Tuskegee is a collaboration, with artists such as Shania Twain, Willie Nelson and Little Big Town all offering their talents.
This could mean some of these popular artists join the star on stage during his performances, which is bound to make the upcoming events extra special for his fans.
