London gig announced by The Low Anthem
A one-off The Low Anthem gig has been unveiled for August as the band prepare for a festival gig.
The indie-folk band will play a concert at London's Bush Hall on August 29th, ahead of a performance at The End of the Road Festival on August 31st.
Hailing from Rhode Island, the five-piece have released four albums throughout their career, slowly building up their fanbase with records such as What the Crow Brings and Oh My God, Charlie Darwin.
Recorded in an abandoned pasta sauce factory, their fourth album Smart Flesh was released in 2011 on Bella Union records and leaned heavily on a more stripped-down, folk style.
The Low Anthem tickets will be available from August 3rd and will offer a great opportunity to hear the band play songs from their six-year career.
In February, the group announced that they would be providing the soundtrack for the film Arcadia, stating that they had recorded the music in a week after several "epic improvised sessions".
