McLaren Formula One drivers looking forward to Australian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are both hoping to impress ticket holders at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix.
The McLaren drivers have both said how much they are looking forward to the race, despite a disappointing start to the season in Bahrain.
Hamilton said he particularly enjoyed the Melbourne event because of the atmosphere generated by the fans.
"The fans in the grandstands, the people in the city and the organisation at the track are all fantastic, and it is one of the most welcoming and relaxing events of the year. I really love it," he said.
Meanwhile, Button, who made his Formula One debut at the Albert Park track, is hoping to improve on the seventh place he managed in Bahrain.
"It's quite a contrast to Bahrain: no tight, low-speed sections and plenty of faster corners. We think the track configuration should suit our package," he commented.
Qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix begins on Saturday, March 27th with the race itself getting underway the following day.
