Tuesday, 27 October 2009
A Michael McIntyre gig has been given a rave review by a Scottish newspaper.
The chubby comedian, who has become famous for his stand up routine, was given four stars for his act at the SECC in Glasgow.
Malcolm Jack, writing for the Scotsman newspaper, noted that McIntyre is a "comic for all ages".
"The mainstay of his set was orthodox if expertly realised observational stuff about things such as vacuum cleaning techniques," Mr Jack wrote.
McIntyre, who is to play London's O2 Arena on November 2nd, 3rd and 17th, began his career in 2003 at the Edinburgh Festival and has since gone onto have the highest selling debut stand-up DVD of all time.
As well as his stand up shows, McIntyre has become a favourite on TV panel shows including Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You, helping him to hone his comedy.
