Miley Cyrus: I hate Twilight
Teen singer and actor Miley Cyrus has revealed she does not like the Twilight films and "doesn't want anything to do with it".
The Hannah Montana star told a US radio station that she had never seen 'Twilight' and had no intention of seeing its upcoming sequel Twilight: New Moon.
"I've never seen it, nor will I ever. It's a cult, I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires, I don't like any of the stuff, I don't like the wolf that pops out of my screen when I'm watching TV at night," she said, adding: "I don't like it, I don't want anything to do with it."
Twilight: New Moon, the second of four films in the series, is set for release on Saturday (November 21st) and is one of the most hotly anticipated movies of the year.
The first film, Twilight grossed $35.7 million on its first day alone and it seems the success of the franchise is something that puts Cyrus off.
"I feel like, it's like, people get like, really into it. People always like, fall in love with the characters. It makes me not like, I don't know, I'm not into it," she said.
Cyrus will be coming to the UK in December as part of her current world tour. Her first gig will be at London's O2 Arena on December 13th.
