Monaco secures ten-year Formula One deal
Those unable to get tickets for this year's Monaco Grand Prix should not despair as they will get plenty of chances to go to the famous Formula One venue in the future.
It has been announced that Monaco has secured a ten-year extension to its right to host the Grand Prix with the sport's boss Bernie Ecclestone.
The principality is one of the most well-known fixtures on the F1 calendar, with Grands Prix being held there annually since 1995.
However, Ecclestone has hinted in the past that its continued status as a Formula One host was by no means certain.
Speaking to the Independent, he said: "The Europeans are going to have to pay more money or we will have to go somewhere else."
"We can do without Monaco. They don't pay enough."
This weekend sees the current F1 season move to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix, which takes place on Sunday, August 1st.
