More acts added to Download Festival line up
Chase and Status, Biffy Clyro and Soundgarden are three of the big-name acts that have been added to the Download Festival line up.
Organisers have confirmed 14 new acts for the three-day event, with You Me at Six, Tenacious D and Machine Head also confirmed.
Those with Download Festival tickets will be seeing Soundgarden - fronted by Chris Cornell - performing at Donington for the first time and drummer Matt Cameron said the group are "beyond psyched" to be making an appearance.
"It will be a huge year for the band and what better way to celebrate than bring it all to our UK family at Download. See you there!" he remarked.
Soundgarden will play the main stage on the Sunday (June 10th), while Chase and Status will appear on the Friday before The Prodigy and Biffy Clyro performing prior to Metallica's headlining set on the Saturday.
Metallica will play the Black Album in its entirety for what will be their seventh appearance at Donington.
