Morrissey tour announced
Tickets go on sale next week for a new Morrissey tour of the UK announced last week.
The former Smiths frontman has announced a nine-date tour, starting at the City Hall in Perth on June 15th.
True to his eccentric style, the singer has decided to take his tour to a number of venues that will seem unusual for an artist of his status.
Following the Perth gig Morrissey will play several more shows in Scotland - in Inverness, Dunoon, Dunfermline and the small Scottish borders town of Hawick.
His performances in England include shows at the Grimsby Auditorium and St George's Hall in Bradford.
He will round the tour off at the Centaur in Cheltenham on June 30th.
It comes after the 51-year-old was confirmed as the headlining act at this year's Hop Farm Music Festival which takes place at Paddock Wood, Kent, on Saturday, July 2nd.
Morrissey tickets for the new UK tour go on sale at 9am on Monday (March 14th).
