Muse frontman welcomes new baby ahead of Leeds Festival appearance
Muse frontman Matt Bellamy is celebrating the arrival of his first child, a baby boy born to his actress fiancée Kate Hudson.
With the West Country three-piece currently getting set to entertain fans lucky enough to secure Leeds Festival tickets, the couple have confirmed that their first baby together was born in Los Angeles over the weekend.
While neither Bellamy nor Hudson have yet commented on the news, with even the name of the baby being kept private, according to the NME, it is widely believed that all three will soon be heading to the UK.
As well as Muse's festival commitments, most notably their headlining slot at this year's Leeds Festival, the band are also believed to be recording their latest album in a London studio.
Meanwhile, Bellamy has told Contact Music that he would love it if Muse were to become the first group to record in space, noting that they already have good relations with Sir Richard Branson, who will be launching passenger flights out of the atmosphere in the not-too-distant future.
