My World 2.0 US sales reach 2 million ahead of Justin Bieber tour
Sales of My World 2.0 have topped the two million mark in the US ahead of the upcoming Justin Bieber tour.
The album is the second part of Bieber's two-part debut record and was released in March this year.
According to the latest figures from the Recording Industry Association of America, the album is the 16-year-old's first ever multi-platinum record having surpassed the two million milestone.
My World 2.0 is also nominated in the Pop/Rock Music – Favourite Album category in the upcoming American Music Awards (AMAs).
In addition, the singer is up for Artist of the Year, Pop/Rock Music - Favourite Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
He is also due to perform at the AMAs, recently revealing he will be singing new song Pray.
The news comes shortly after Bieber announced he is to go on a UK tour this year.
Starting in March, he will perform at venues including the MEN Arena in Manchester and the O2 in London.
