New Jersey coach to build team around Williams for London NBA games

Basketball fans snapping booking tickets for the upcoming NBA games in London are in for a treat as the New Jersey Nets use the trip to the city as the perfect chance to give superstar Deron Williams a true taste of first-team action.

The 27-year-old only joined the East coast team last week, having made a surprise switch from rivals Utah Jazz.

Although his first three appearances for the Nets have ended in defeat, coach Avery Anderson has revealed he sees the upcoming games at the O2 Arena as the perfect opportunity to integrate Williams into a winning team.

"We're going to play to his strengths," Anderson explained of his plans for the Friday and Saturday night double-header.

"And we're going to ask him what does he like? What plays does he like? Where does he want the ball when the game's on the line?"

Fans booking London NBA tickets are unlikely to be disappointed by the All-NBA point guard given that, according to the Mirror, he has a career average of 17.4 points are 9.2 assists per game.
