New Order tour announced

A New Order tour has been confirmed for this spring, with the band playing four venues around the UK.

The group will perform at Manchester's O2 Apollo on April 26th before travelling to Birmingham to gig at the city's Ballroom venue three days later.

On May 2nd, they will take the stage at the O2 Academy in Brixton and then they will finish the run of shows at Glasgow's O2 Academy.

The band confirmed they were reunited at the end of 2011 without original bassist Peter Hook.

Tom Chapman of Bad Lieutenant is taking his place, while former keyboardist in the group Gillian Gilbert will rejoin the line-up.

New Order tickets will be released this Friday (February 3rd), while those who would prefer to see the group play in warmer climes could see them at Spain's Benicassim Festival between July 12th and 15th.

Other European dates include the Exit Festival in Novo Sad Serbia on the same weekend and the Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyons, France on May 20th.
