New date added to The Gaslight Anthem tour
The Gaslight Anthem UK tour has been extended with an extra date.
They will play another night in London's O2 Academy Brixton on October 17th, two days after the initial show. The rest of the tour will see them visit Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham.
The four-piece will release their fourth record Handwritten later in July, which has been produced by Brendan O'Brien, who has previously worked with Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With an expansive rock sound, combining fuzzy guitars with heartfelt lyrics, the group have been compared to Bruce Springsteen and The Gaslight Anthem tickets are likely to be snapped up quickly.
The band became widely known after the success of their second record The '59 Sound in 2008, which featured the songs Great Expectations and Old White Lincoln.
This summer will also see the band play the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August.
