Nickelback are leading the race to awards

Canadian rockers Nickelback are leading the race for the Canadian Radio Music Awards, says Broadcaster Magazine.
The group have been shortlisted for the 13th annual awards ceremony under the categories Fans' Choice Award and Song of the Year, for which they have two entries.
Songwriter Chad Kroeger's If Today Was Your Last Day and Gotta Be Somebody, a joint collaboration from Kroeger, Ryan Peake, and Joe Moi, are both tipped for success.
On the band's website Kroeger notes the importance of song writing as he says each song must win the fans over again.
"I want every single song to be amazing. That's what I want to hear, so that's what we have to try to provide our fans," he states.
In their 13 year history together, Nickelback and have accumulated a following of fans worldwide and have won several awards.
Over the next week the band are performing at the Echo Arena, in Liverpool, on Sunday January 17th and then at Wembley Arena the following night.
