Nickelback wow Liverpool's Echo Arena
Anyone with tickets to Nickelback's recent Liverpool gig will have enjoyed a spectacular show, one reviewer has claimed.
Jade Wright, writing for the Liverpool Echo, said the band "brought the house down" at the Echo Arena on Sunday (January 17th).
She said frontman Chad Kroegar was particularly impressive.
"The audience hung on his every word - reaching out at every opportunity to press the hallowed flesh and sing along with the catchy lyrics," she reported.
In addition, MS Wright also praised the show's production, calling it "slick and well polished", no doubt the product of an extensive world-tour that has so far taken in 117 dates.
It has been a good start to 2010 for the Canadian rockers who were recently nominated for two Canadian Radio Music Awards.
They were also recently named as band of the decade by US chart compilers Billboard, based on the chart rankings of their songs throughout the noughties.
Tickets are still available on www.viagogo.co.uk for Nickelback's final UK gig at Wembley Arena on January 19th.
