Noel Gallagher concerts to include Oasis songs
Music fans with Noel Gallagher tickets might be happy to hear that the performer's forthcoming shows with the High Flying Birds will include some Oasis songs.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, the singer and guitarist said he will be playing tracks that he wrote himself, adding: "It's not like I'm Morrissey and I'm playing a song that somebody else wrote for me."
He also revealed that he won't be playing songs that are associated with his brother and former Oasis frontman Liam.
"Out of an hour and a half total, there'll be ten minutes of Oasis," said Gallagher.
"So maybe four songs. I don't ever see a day where I don't play Oasis songs."
He went on to suggest that other groups like the Foo Fighters, Green Day and Radiohead should play tracks by his old band during their own gigs.
The High Flying Birds will play their first live shows at Dublin's Olympia Theatre, Usher Hall in Edinburgh and London's Hammersmith Apollo in October.
