Olly Murs getting fit ahead of tour
Fans with Olly Murs tickets may be excited to see the singer in the flesh during his forthcoming tour, especially since it seems he is aiming to look his best on stage.
The artist recently told Capital FM he is following a strict diet and exercise regime ahead of the gigs.
"I've got to get the guns for the ladies and the six pack back," he explained, although the singer admitted he isn't particularly enjoying his protein-rich meals of chicken fillets and cashew nuts in the morning, omelette and chicken for lunch and steak for dinner.
He told the news provider he has had the help of a personal trainer who recently led him through a ten-day intensive workout.
The musician is not just getting into shape for the girls but also for his wellbeing, explaining he spoke to Take That stars Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow, who warned him to keep in health before he starts travelling for shows.
"I'm not doing as big a tour as they've done, but 18 shows in 25 days is going to be a lot for me," he told the news provider.
The forthcoming Olly Murs tour kicks off at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena today (February 1st), after which he will play all over the country including in London, Brighton, Birmingham, Sheffield, Nottingham and Bournemouth.
