Paramore and Green Day up for People's Choice Award
Green Day and Paramore are going head to head at the People's Choice Awards this year.
Both groups have been nominated for the Favourite Rock Band award alongside Nashville band Kings of Leon, Brit boys Muse and Daughtry.
The public are able to vote for their favourite band as well as a host of other awards including Favourite Movie Actor, Favourite TV Competition Show and Favourite Music Collaboration.
Both Paramore and Green Day have upcoming gigs in the UK.
Paramore are to begin their tour in Glasgow on December 19th and play a number of venues including the Birmingham NIA Academy on December 11th and London Wembley Arena on December 18th.
Green Day are due to come to the UK next summer, playing the Lancashire County Cricket Club on June 16th and Wembley Stadium on June 19th.
