Pearl Jam announce 2012 tour
Gigs in Manchester and at the Isle of Wight Festival have been lined up for the Pearl Jam tour in 2012, in what will be the band's first appearances in the UK since 2010.
The group - comprising of Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament and Matt Cameron - will play at the Manchester MEN Arena on June 20th and headline the Isle of Wight Festival on June 23rd.
Support at the Manchester show comes in the form of LA punk rock group X, while on the Isle of Wight - one of three European festivals the band will headline in 2012 - they will be joined on the bill by acts such as the Darkness and Bruce Springsteen.
Those wanting to get hold of Pearl Jam tickets as soon as possible can secure their spot at the Isle of Wight Festival now, but tickets to the Manchester concert do not go on sale until December 16th.
Pearl Jam last appeared in the UK in June 2010, when they played shows in London and Belfast, as well as a gig in Dublin.
