Peter Kay takes the Tour that Doesn't Tour on tour
A series of extra dates have will be added to Peter Kay's upcoming tour at venues around the country.
It was originally only planned as a 20 night residency at Manchester's MEN Arena, leading Kay to dub it the Tour That Doesn't Tour.
But now the comedian has announced he will be taking the non-touring tour on tour following overwhelming demand.
Kay said on his personal website: "Thanks to overwhelming demand, the the Tour that Doesn't Tour Tour is going to have to go on tour.
"I'm just in the final stages of putting it together, but first and foremost its going to be a crackin' show."
Kay will play two shows at Glasgow's SECC in April before kicking off his mammoth run in Manchester.
He will then play four venues throughout November including London's O2 Arena before taking a break. The Phoenix Nights star will pick up where he left off in April 2011 at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.
Tickets for the new dates are not yet available but Peter Kay fans can still buy tickets for the Manchester MEN Arena shows at www.viagogo.co.uk.
