Pink forced to prove identity at gig

So What, the first single from Funhouse, went to number one in the UK

She may be a superstar, but that doesn't mean Pink won't have to show her ID card every once in a while.

The Get The Party Started singer was asked for her identity card by an overzealous security guard at the NIC in Birmingham.

Writing on her Twitter page, Pink said: "The security guy just carded me for my laminate to get into my dressing room."

The singer is due to play a further two dates in the UK this year, at London's O2 Arena on December 8th and December 10th.

She is then to return to British shores in June next year where she will play a number of dates including Coventry, Swansea, Glasgow and Ipswich.

The 30-year-old singer has had a number of big tours, including the 2002 Party Tour and the Try This Tour.

The current string of gigs is part of the Funhouse Tour, named after her current album.
