Pink reveals burning ambition despite success
Pink still feels there is a lot she needs to achieve, despite having sold over 32 million records worldwide.
In an interview with the Times, the singer revealed her ambitious goals for the future.
As well as having a photo she's taken published in Time magazine and rescuing thousands of animals, she would like to make a record "that's this generation's Joni Mitchell meets Carly Simon meets Janis Joplin."
She also admitted that she sometimes wished her lyrics were more eloquent. "I would say most people out there are singing songs that are a little more intelligent than what I put out. But mine are extremely honest," she said.
The self criticism comes despite the singer, real name Alecia Moore, having just been nominated for two Grammy awards. She is up for best pop vocal album for Funhouse and best female pop vocal performance for her single Sober.
She has previously won two Grammy awards, one in 2001 and another in 2003.
Pink comes to the UK this year as part of her Funhouse Tour. Her first gig will be at London's O2 Arena on December 8th.
