Pink would be 'flipping burgers' without extensive touring
Pink has been on tour for nearly a year, selling out stadiums across Europe, Australia and the US.
The singer says if her Funhouse Tour didn't have such a relentless schedule she'd likely be flipping burgers at her old job.
"If I were not a touring artist, these days, with the way that the industry is, I would be sending my resume into McDonalds," she told Sky News.
She may have spent a year in a fast food drive-through but Pink doesn't appear to be in danger of wearing a hairnet again anytime soon. Performing Funhouse live has brought in £50 million this year.
Pink also told the news outlet that she has "conflicting opinions" about talent programmes like the X Factor.
"I'd love to see shows that were as successful with kids getting up and playing original material and playing instruments - but then I wanted to be on (US talent show) Star Search so I can only talk so much trash!" she said.
Pink will be headlining at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park in July.
